In my experience every engine that was worked over to be more than mild that had KB pistons had them coming apart. They are probably find for close-to-stock applications. I won’t buy another set.

KB Hypers can be very much hit-or-miss.
I actually have one sitting on my desk, out of a BBC with closed chamber heads. Pulled out of an engine with less than 100 miles that was smoking like a locomotive. Poor ring pack, short skirt, dome not smoothed out.
Owner of said engine was not pleased. I am glad I didn’t build it.

I think the claimer 350/street 350 pistons are probably good as there would have been way too many failures for the Silv-o-lite shit to stay around.
